NIH-funded post-doctoral position

An NIH-funded post-doctoral position is available at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston to work on computational aspects of high-resolution cryo-electron microscopy.  We are actively involved in the development of a large single particle EM data processing system (SPARX/EMAN2) whose key elements are 3-D reconstruction from projections, resampling techniques and non-uniform Fourier transforms.  Operating as part of a small, dynamic team, you will be encouraged to think creatively and contribute to team discussions.
The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, which is located in the Texas Medical Center, is one of six University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston schools.  There are also close ties with other leading academic institutions such as Baylor College of Medicine, Rice University, and The University of Houston.
