We cordially invite you to participate in the International Workshop in Neuroendocrinology (IWNE 2013), a combined meeting of the 2nd U.S.-South American Workshop in Neuroendocrinology and the 2nd Brazilian International Symposium on Integrative Neuroendocrinology.
The workshop will be held August 4 -7, 2013. The venue will be the Santa Clara Eco Resort, located in the city of Dourado, within the central region of São Paulo State. The city of Dourado is located 141 miles (235 km) from the city of São Paulo, 81 miles (135 km) from Ribeirão Preto and 120 miles (200 km) from Campinas. A hotel oriented to ecotourism, Santa Clara boasts modern accommodations in a rustic setting amidst natural beauty and has ample meeting space with a full range of recreational activities.
The goal of the workshop is to encourage scientific interaction and promote collaboration between the next generation of scientists from US and Latin America in the creation of a global research arena. The scientific program will comprise of keynote/plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations comprising recent advances in Neuroendocrinology and related disciplines. The format of this Workshop will allow for interaction between established and young investigators from diverse scientific backgrounds, who use wide-ranging model systems, within the framework of Neuroendocrinology and foster extensive discussions between the junior and senior investigators. Travel awards for young investigators (graduate students and postdoctoral fellows) will be available competitively and application information is available on the Awards page.
