The Center for Biomedical Research at University Andres Bello (Santiago de Chile; http://cib.unab.cl/research/) seeks to promote multidisciplinary basic and translational biomedical research.

The CIB is currently looking for a Postdoctoral Candidate with expertise in whole-cell patch-clamp recordings to study basic cellular and molecular mechanisms behind the devastating diseases including ALS and Parkinson´s disease. The laboratory is headed by Dr. Brigitte van Zundert, who receives funding from national and international agencies and has strong collaborations with groups in the USA and European countries such as the Netherlands.

Postdoctoral salary is at international wage rate, making living in Chile very comfortable.
