En la lista de koha han aparecido recientemente gran cantidad de mensajes solicitando información sobre como resolver problemas con instalaciones de Koha v2.2.9 en windows realizadas recientemente. En la lista la respuesta usual es que dicha versión ha quedado obsoleta y bajo ningún concepto se recomienda su uso.
La gente llega a instalar dicha versión de Koha porque al realizar la búsqueda de «Koha on Windows» en Google, el mismo devuelve un enlace a un sitio de 2008 que promociona dicha versión sin contener advertencias sobre lo obsoleta de la versión.

On the official Koha list there has been recently a flood of messages acknowledging some problems with Koha v2.2.9 installs on Windows. People answered them saying that Koha v2.2.9 its several years deprecated and its usage should be avoided.
On the obvious question of «Why are people reaching those old packages» the community found that the first result of a google search for «Koha on Windows» its an old page dated from 2008 that promotes that version.
