Tools generated in this arena, such as medical diagnostics and bioelectronic implants, are expected to greatly impact the future of healthcare and help increase the span and quality of our lives. They will also play a dominant role in modernizing agriculture and in protecting animal health, our food supply, and the environment. For more information visit <\/span><span lang=\"FR\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.emse.fr\/spip\/-Departement-bioelectronique-.html?lang=en\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">http:\/\/www.emse.fr\/spip\/-Departement-bioelectronique-.html?lang=en<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"line-height: 115%\">The department of bioelectronics at the CMP is seeking to expand their team to work on a European Research Council grant funded for the next five years.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> The project is focused on the <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"line-height: 115%\">integration of barrier tissue layers with organic electronic devices for the development of new <i>in vitro<\/i> models for toxicology.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"line-height: 115%\">The following positionis offered:<\/span><b><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"line-height: 115%\"> A postdoctoral scientist<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"line-height: 115%\">You will contribute to the existing program in bioelectronics, integrating live cells with electronic devices, for the detection of pathogens and toxins. You should have a PhD in cell biology, preferably epithelial\/endothelial cell biology.
