The mechanism by which neurotransmitters are released from the synapse is still not well understood at the molecular level. The successful candidate will tackle this problem with an original approach: he or she will describe the structure of the exocytotic machinery in the various states leading to neurotransmitter release.<\/p>\n<p>\t<span class=\"normalbold\">Requirements:<\/span> The successful candidate will hold a Master&#039;s degree (or equivalent) in life science or physics, have good communication skills and be highly motivated to work on a challenging project. Experience in electron microscopy or in molecular biology is an advantage but is not necessary.
