Desde 1997 t<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333\">rabaja en el grupo de geot&eacute;cnica del Department of Civil &amp; Environmental Engineering (University of Washington) abocado a la geomec&aacute;nica computacional. Sus investigaciones tratan de simulaciones de movimientos terrestres, interacci&oacute;n suelo-estructura, e ingenier&iacute;a de los terremotos. <\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"color:#333333\">Ha investigado para la National Science Foundation, el Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center y el Washington State Department of Transportation. En 2009 r<\/span><span style=\"color:#333333\">ecibi&oacute; el Outstanding Teaching Award de su Universidad. Es miembro de los comit&eacute;s de ASCE EM Inelasticity y del ER Earth &amp; Retaining Structures.
